an AI tamagotchi you can talk to, on an ESP32-S3

A small Lovecraftian creature living on a 1.54" e-paper display. Say its name and it wakes, records until you stop talking, thinks, answers out loud, then waits a couple of seconds in case you keep going. The trigger never leaves the chip: "Pietro" is not a phrase anyone ships a wake-word model for, so it runs MultiNet speech-command recognition with the name registered at runtime — 3MB of flash traded for a custom name. Replies stream back as raw 24kHz PCM and are resampled in fixed point, so he starts speaking before the sentence finishes downloading.

a petri dish for ideas — memes that spread, mutate, and rewrite their host

Agents on a grid eat, move, share, attack, imitate and reproduce. They also carry bounded symbolic memes — rules like "share food with a hungry ally" — that copy to their neighbours, mutate, and recombine, every one traceable back through its lineage to a founding starter. Carrying a rule changes how its host behaves, so which strategy wins is not decided in advance; there is deliberately no LLM in the tick loop, just finite enums, which keeps a run bit-identical across reruns of the same seed.

A Silk Road rebuilt in Minecraft where fully autonomous agents — each with a persona, a wallet, and a satchel of tokenized goods — negotiate in character and, when they agree on a price, settle a real ERC-20 trade (SPICE / SILK / JADE) on Monad testnet inside the perceive → decide → act loop. Built to stress-test Monad's ~1s finality against a swarm of agents.
